Since October 2022 Softline has been operating under the brand name Noventiq.
During the end-to-end planning, implementation and follow-up of cloud migration, having the right level of IT support is essential. In order to ensure the optimal operation of the cloud environment, once provisioned, you will need continuous monitoring, technical support and consultancy, which can help to maintain the quality of operations and various business services running in the cloud at the highest level.
After successful migration, Softline aims to provide further help to maintain uninterrupted, optimal operations. For this, our Network Operations Center (NOC), working 24/7, provides a solid foundation. The wide range of services offered by our continuously available dedicated operations center even includes an option with an SLA of a maximum 7 minutes, which means that the technical support you need is available literally within minutes—24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.
The service is backed by advanced analytics, which provides traceability for critical operating parameters, such as the stability of each update, the compatibility metrics of certain applications, and even any digital threats to the business. In effect, the NOC provides coverage for each element of the system—from virtual machines (VMs) through databases to network components, including backup and recovery.
For VMs, the NOC manages the provisioning and configuration of each machine, as well as load balancing. Additionally, continuous health and security monitoring is provided, and virtual machines can be moved to a different Azure region if necessary.
For databases, the Network Operations Center performs health checks, validation of backups, preventive maintenance, performance management and fine-tuning. These services are provided for any database supported by Azure, including PaaS solutions, most notably Azure SQL Database.
For networks, setting up and maintaining Azure Network Security Groups Subnets and virtual networks, traffic management and load-balancing, and firewall management are also provided. The latter also provides coverage for the Web Application Firewall (WAF), as well as all Azure native and third-party network appliances.
- Business continuity and disaster recovery
Last but not least, the NOC can provide business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) services, including synchronisation and continuous monitoring of the operational state of the infrastructure and the network in order to meet various strict regulations.
Of course, the relevant information is continuously available to the customer, including the status of core services, critical events, current resource usage information and various performance metrics. Additionally, the customer can also manage system configurations, the installation of patches, backup and restore operations, and preventive maintenance, as well as various security settings and controls.
